PEL Solar Compactors are manufactured in Ireland by PEL Waste Reduction Equipment. The machine will reduce waste volumes by up to 66% and is suitable for use in public spaces such as parks, beaches, amusement parks, and universities etc. or any location where no mains electricity power supply is in close proximity.

The 1100 SPBC compacts 660L and 1100L commercial waste bins with a compaction force of 2 tonnes which allows up to 3 bins to be compacted into one bin. The 1100 SPBC is hydraulically driven and runs on a 12V battery, which is kept charged by the solar panel.
